Decorations For Horror Kitty Party

It's important to provide the right ambiance for your kitty party. Of course, as it's a horror themed get-together, you'll want to keep the lights down low. To create a spooky atmosphere, provide some lighting with small lanterns. I wouldn't advise you to use candles, especially if you're serving alcohol as partying and naked flames don't mix.

If you have the money, you can hire props from party shops or horror movie companies to liven up the décor. If you are on a budget, then why not use silly string squirted from a can to create cobwebs or print off some horror-themed images from the Internet and blow these up to A3 size. Put a gravestone poster on your door to set the atmosphere for your guests.

Something else you can do that won't cost a lot of money, is switch out the light bulbs in the area where you'll be serving the food for red bulbs. If you have any old, broken dolls, you could use their detached limbs to decorate the table. This will create a sinister atmosphere without a lot of cost. Play atmospheric music to set the tone. Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield would be a classic choice.
