Decorations For Marine Kitty Party -

Decorating for a Marine-themed kitty party is super easy and quite surprisingly inexpensive. For the banner, use a bamboo beach mat that you might already have at home. Cut out several fish shapes from cardstock and write welcome to marine life. With a hole puncher, create a hole on the tail of each fish. Then alter paper clips to resemble fish hooks and attach these to the tails. With the hooks in place, place the fish on the bamboo mat. Another cute idea would be to hang these fish on a large fishing net on the wall.

For the table décor, you can either find sea-themed plates and napkins or just go for a simple beach color theme. Go for a colorful theme with large ocean blue plates for the food, small yellow plates for the cake, and green napkins. Set these out on a white tablecloth and used brightly colored sand buckets and other sand toys as food containers. Brightly colored balloons also decked out the party area.

Hang a variety of blue streamers to replicate the ocean and don’t be afraid to get creative. (Tip: Hang pink or purple streamers from lanterns and use paste-on eyes to create household jellyfish.) Piñatas are as essential to the decorations as they are fun to crack open. Pick an underwater creature and fill it up with salt water taffy, packs of sweedish fish, chocolate coins, and more. Fish scale wall decor is easy to make and looks great for marine kitty party. Scales can be quickly cut out of colored construction paper and layered on walls to look like the scales of a fish.
