1. Catch The Lion's Tail - Give a handmade lion tail to one player and have him tuck it into the back of his pants at his waistband. Have all the other players sit in a circle. The lion must walk around tapping the other players’ heads saying, “lion,” each time. If he says, “Hyena,” that player must chase the lion around the circle trying to get his tail before he can sit in the hyena’s spot. If they hyena grabs his tail, that player is the lion again. If the lion makes it to the hyena’s spot, then he gives that player the lion tail and his is the new lion.
2. Tease The Lion - Lay a rope on the ground to make a 10 feet by 10 feet box. Select a player to be the lion and have him stand in the box. All the others players will try to run through the lion’s “cage,” while teasing him. Any player caught by the lion is the new lion.
3. Lion Hunt - Hide several toy plastic or plush lions around the party area. Give each player a small paper sack. Tell the players they are going on a lion hunt to see how many lions they can find. They can collect the lions in their paper sacks. The player who finds the most lions wins the game .
4. Lion In The Kage - In this game you have to put lions in the cage by saying “One lion with two eyes and four legs roar in the cage”. First player can start the game by saying ‘One lion’, second player will say ‘with two eyes’ third player will say ‘and four legs’ fourth player will say ‘roar’ fifth player will say ‘in the cage’ and so on. If someone makes a mistake everyone will shout ‘Lion Lion’ and that player is Out.
5. Sleeping Lions - Play some music and have your party guests prowl around the dance floor, roaring like lions. When the music stops, instead of freezing, the players will fall to the floor and lie still like sleeping lions. The last player to become a sleepy lion is out of the game. Start the music again and play for as many rounds as it takes until only one player remains.
6. Roaring Contest - Each player roars his best lion roar and the best roars win awards (one for loudest, one for most scary, most original, etc.).
7. Feed The Lions - Make a several large lions head cutouts of various sizes, from strong card. Make a hole for the mouth then color or paint the heads. Suspend the lion heads from a tree or chair and get the players to toss bean bags or small cuddly animals into the lion mouths. Give points for each mouth and the highest scorer wins.
8. Lion Tambola - For this game host has to take out Lions printout from the internet and write numbers randomly on its eyes, grass,stomach,tail, rear legs and front legs. Host has to pick up a token and call out the number. If the number exists on the player’s printout, he/she has to strike it and host has to place the token on the board. Game ends when all the Sections and Full Houses are successfully claimed.
