Poem On Monsoon

Hey it's a great relief from heat of Sun,
it's time for monsoon and so much fun.
Sky is dark and clouds are grey,
here come the rain, let's cheer hurray.

Rain drops falling on the face,
lightning and thunder runs in chase.
so much happiness playing in rain,
but it's time for mosquitos that gives pain.

Kids splashing in the water,
paper boats floating in the water.
Trees smile with green eyes,
flowers blossoming colourful and bright.

Monsoon with it brings happiness and joy,
but it also brings storms and destruction O boy.
Rice fields flooded brings food,
but rivers flooded spoils the mood.

O'God let the rain down,
but don't let people and their homes drown.
Spread the fragrance of happiness and beauty,
and keep the lives of people alive and fruity.
